We've all probably made New Years resolutions, right? I know I've made dozens; stay focused on my schoolwork, eat healthier, exercise more. We all have probably strived to keep our New Years resolutions too, but life happens, and those hopes of what you wanted to accomplish just get thrown out the window.
As I look back on 2015, I think it has been a very good year, one to be proud of. Not just for me, but for all of us!! Each and everyone of you have had great times this year, I'm sure.
Although I want to focus on health and exercise, my main resolution for this year has taken a different turn. A spiritual turn- Listening to God's counsel within my life. He is always there for us and gives the advice and counsel we need, even when we might not hear it or don't pay any heed to it.
This year my goal is to dig deeper into the bible, into His word, and how God is talking to me through the bible. Not only the bible, but just through every day life. We have Him in and through us 24/7, and 365 days a year. I want to use that as much as I can and to the fullest. Doesn't that sound so inviting!! To have a God who loves us and is there for us through it all!!
I have a strong feeling that this year is going to be even better physically, mentally, and spiritually for all of us. Let's walk with God in our everyday life, and feel refreshed and ready to start each and everyday knowing we have the biggest, best, and only God to help us through everything!!
Happy New Year everyone, and God bless!!
